Serial Tools for Apple Silicon M1
Serial tools are rare and no longer maintained due to the age and limitations of interface technology. However, since they still play a role in the industry, they are not dying out. Now two of my tools are available for Apple’s M1 ARM architecture.
- ShowAllPorts – Portlister for serial ports
- SerialLogger – Serial Data Logger
are also compatible with Apple’s new hardware now.
With this it is now possible to list serial interface names and log data from the interface with the new M1-Macs.
